Tamworth 2017 has been an exciting Festival for Laura where she was part of  The Tamworth Opry, Maton Showcase, Pure Country Spectacular, and many others. Highlights were graduating from the Senior Academy of Country Music and being recognized by the Tamworth Songwriters Association.

Growing Up,  Co - Written with Allan Caswell has been named a top 10 finalist in the Tamworth Songwriters  Association 2016/2017 Bush Ballad of the Year.

1950,  Co - Written with Chloe Styler has been named a top 5  finalist in the Tamworth Songwriters  Association 2016/2017  Anzac Song of the Year.

Pearl, Co- written with Brianna Lee was placed 4th in the Australian Songwriters Association Folk song of the year 2016/17.
